Dr. Ho is a board-certified physician anesthesiologists and the director of Safe Sleep Anesthesia. A former pediatrician and part-time neonatologist, he is a published author and recipient of numerous teaching awards. With over 30 years of clinical anesthesia experience in academic medicine at level 1 trauma hospitals, ambulatory surgicenters, and office-based anesthesia, he has dedicated his career to the delivery of state-of-the-art anesthesia, emphasizing quality, safety, and satisfaction as his primary goals in a practice of patient-centered care.
In office-based settings, total intravenous anesthesia (TIVA) is give via a combination of state-of-the-art anesthetics, including propofol, fenanyl, remifentanil, ketamine, dexmedetomidine, and midazolam. Antiemetic drugs such ondasetron and dexamethasone are usually given to reduce the chances of postoperative nausea and vomiting (PONV). Ketorolac is used as a nonsteroidal anti-inflammatory agent to reduce pain. Depth of anesthesia ranges from mild sedation to general anesthesia, according to operator needs and patient request/safety.
We believe that receiving anesthesia for painful procedures is a right and should be affordable to all. We promise to charge fair, market value prices, commensurate with accepted regional standards of practice.
